Agenda
  • 8:30 AM   ACHE update presentation from Michele Sutton
  • 9:15 AM   Interactive Workshop – Katherine Meese

    • Genfluence: Igniting Intergenerational Impact
    • With four generations in the workforce, leaders are expected to navigate intergenerational dynamics to build successful and high-performing teams. As the population ages, healthcare must become an attractive destination, particularly for younger generations, to meet the growing demand for care.

This interactive and science-backed session will explore:
    • Why the timing of a smartphone in your pocket matters more than historical events
    • The myths about generational differences that haven’t made the headlines—based on actual science
    • Why young people seem younger, what it has to do with agriculture, and how to design around it.
    • How generational differences inform the new rules of trust, hope, transparency, and mattering
    • Clarifying the confusing science of feedback and how to put it into practice
    • Why trends in generational differences are completely different for healthcare

      Interactive elements will include:
    • Identifying generational commonalities through a fun and engaging (not corny) icebreaker
    • Practicing re-framing feedback
    • Inviting upward feedback

  • 10:45 AM   Workshop Break
  • 12:00 PM   Workshop Conclusion/ 30 min Break
  • 12:30 PM   Keynote with Katherine Meese
    • Keynote: The Human Margin: Building Foundations of Trust
    • Description
      • Between employee burnout and disengagement, and staff departing from the healthcare field altogether, fostering a healthy and flourishing workforce is one of the biggest hurdles facing organizations today. But the research on what’s driving turnover, burnout and disengagement is not what it seems.
  • 1:30 PM   Awards Presentation
  • 2:00 PM   Conclusion & Networking
